The Alpenhof Lodge is located in Teton Village next to the clock tower.

The Alpenhof Lodge remains nestled in the heart of Teton Village even as the village has grown up around it. This intimate inn exudes genuine Tyrolean charm and comfort where the weary traveler, skier or hiker arrives to find warmth and hospitality in a true "Gemutlichkeit" experience. What is Gemutlichkeit? There is no English translation of this Austrian word, but imagine a cozy, welcoming mountain inn with a roaring fire, deep chairs, fabulous food, delicious wines and hot drinks, great friends, lots of laughter and music. It is an atmosphere that welcomes you with open arms, makes you feel instantly at home and says there is no rush, take your time, relax, enjoy, be happy and content. This is where life is good, people are friendly, atmosphere genuine, and you never want to leave.

The Alpenhof Lodge truly reflects the warmth and comfort of a Bavarian country Inn. The 42 deluxe rooms and suites are handsomely appointed with handcrafted Bavarian furnishings. Some rooms have fireplaces and/or balconies; all have luxurious down comforters, and white thirsty towels. Our junior suites feature Jacuzzi tubs, heated tile floors, and hand-carved accents. You will find a warmth and coziness in all the Alpenhof rooms which you will remember long after you leave.

Dining at the Alpenhof is a true delight, whether or not you want a relaxed, informal dinner at the Bistro or a 5 course tasting menu at the Alpenrose. Regardless of what your mood, you are bound to find something tasty.

The Alpenrose features Executive Chef Stephen Fralin who prepares exquisite fare with a classic French and Alpine foundation. His choices reflect the finest in regional availability including Amethelia organic goat cheese from Montana and organic produce from a local Paradise Springs Farm. The Alpenrose is a yearly recipient of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. It was, along with one other, the first Wyoming restaurant granted this award.

For a more casual dining experience, stop into the Bistro. Whether enjoying lunch on the flower laden decks in summer, aprés ski after an exhilarating day of skiing, or dining beside the expansive windows, you will understand why the Bistro is a local's favorite. Enjoy micro brews, wine specials, appetizers, and Jackson Hole's only cheese or chocolate fondues. A roaring fire, live entertainment and the friendliest crowd in Teton Village is aprés ski Bistro style.

An exceptional vacation awaits you at the Alpenhof Lodge. Come by in the summer for whitewater float rafting, mountaineering, horseback riding or hot air ballooning. The winter brings lots of snow and great skiing. Just steps away from the Bridger Gondola and Aerial Tram to begin your skiing adventure. If the heated outdoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna aren't enough after a long day, treat yourself to a soothing massage or body treatment in the spa. Oh, and don't forget to show Sam a little affection. He's the resident Golden Retriever and just loves to have his stomach rubbed.
