Welcome to Cody, Wyoming, the Rodeo Capital of the World! This year marks the 85th Anniversary of the Buffalo Bill Cody Stampede in this great City, Cody! The Cody Stampede Rodeo is truly Western event that has its roots in ranch contests and games as well as spectacle and drama borrowed from the world famous Wild West shows produced by Col. William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody.

Top cowboys from across the continent come to Cody for the Stampede Rodeo, one of rodeo's crown jewels that contestants often call "Cowboy Christmas". The Cody Stampede Rodeo is where cowboys and cowgirls win the big purses and ride the best stock. Many of these fine cowboys and cowgirls spend their summers in Cody, Wyoming, competing in the Cody Nite Rodeo and enjoying the lifestyle afforded by this great Western community located near Yellowstone National Park.

Every night, June 1st to August 31st, you can see America's original sport - RODEO. With over 55 years of performances, the Cody Nite Rodeo has earned Cody the title Rodeo Capital of the World. It's good family entertainment, and you get a look at the lifestyle of Old West Cowboys and Cowgirls. Even the kids can participate in the calf scramble, an event where youngsters from the Grandstand and Buzzard's Roost have the opportunity to get in on the action. It's an experience they will never forget.

Each night covers all the exciting rodeo events from bareback riding to bull riding. Watch cowboys and cowgirls compete to be the best. See the clowns tease the bulls and entertain the crowd. Men, women and children of any age will experience an unforgettable evening at the Cody Nite Rodeo.

The grandstand has 5500 reserved seats for each performance. All seating is covered and every seat has a good view. The Buzzard's roost is directly behind the bucking chutes and offers a better view of the cowboys preparing for their rides. There is unlimited free parking within walking distance of the entrance and handicapped parking very close to the entrance.
