Visit the Meeteetse Museum, where you can experience everything from the true wild heritage of the west, to wonderful artwork that proudly displays the regions true colors. There are many interesting works and sites to be seen that have drawn the attention of not only tourists, but of well recognized figures in history as well. The adventurous Amelia Earhart and the rough and tough Butch Cassidy have made their passes through this wonderful area. Rediscover the Black Footed Ferret in its original habitat, long thought to be extinct, it was found once again right in Meeteetse.
