Acme

From the Greek for "high grade," Acme was named for its prime coal, known as "black diamonds." Once a coal mine camp, Acme was also a station on the Burlington railroad. It later gave its name to the Acme Petroleum Corporation, a large Wyoming oil company founded around 1900.
