Table Rock

Also known as Pulpit Rock, the stone pinnacle for which this railroad station was named was the site of a sermon given by Brigham Young in 1847 to Mormon pioneers headed for Utah. In 1876, the area achieved further notoriety when two prospectors salted the mines at Diamond Mesa and Ruby Gulch in order to swindle several easterners out of over a half million dollars.
