Old Trail Town–Museum of the Old West

Old Trail Town is a collection of Frontier buildings and historical relics from northwest Wyoming. It is on the edge of the original townsite of Cody City.

In the cemetery, at the far end of the street is the grave of Liver Eating Johnston, better known as Jeremiah Johnson from the movie.

Old Trail Town is the largest collection of it’s kind in Wyoming. Open Mid May through Mid September from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The minimal admission fee is necessary for the maintenance and development of the Old Trail Town Project.
