Sailboarders, kayakers and water skiiers extol the virtues of this somewhat windy lake 30 miles southwest of Casper. Watch for golden eagles gracing the towering pines. Although Alcova’s size does not rival that of the Pathfinder of Seminoe Reservoirs, its recreational opportunities make it a “must do” when traveling in the area.
