| N.B. and Irene Kinnear, for whom this post office was named, were prominent figures in the valley. N.B. owned a ranch here and was a civil engineer; Irene was a respected school teacher on the Wind River Reservation. She was also a granddaughter of early mountain man, Jim Baker. |
