The Pawnee Hotel is located at 1032 12th street in the middle of down town Cody, Wyoming, 1/2 block off the main street of Sheridan Ave where The Irma and numerous downtown shops and restuarants are located.

The Pawnee Hotel is owned by Jo Jean DeHony. It is a perfect place to make reservations for a clean, quiet and comfortable stay, with a friendly atmosphere and reasonable rates. If you are looking for a special horse, booking with an outfitter, or just traveling through Wyoming, you will want to book your overnight stay in Cody, Wyoming at the Pawnee Hotel. Located in the Middle of Downtown Cody, 3 blocks from the Historical Buffalo Bill Museum.

The Pawnee Hotel was first established around 1900 under the name of Chamberlain Hotel, by Agnes Chamberlain. As you enter the hotel, you will step into the second lobby area, where you will be greeted by our friendly staff. After you register, you are able to look around in the lobby, to a step back in history, and find many interesting things to enjoy.

Our rates are very reasonable, and the hotel is Quiet, CLEAN and comfortable. Be sure and ask for a wake up call if you need to have one so you can start your day in exploring Cody. Or heading to Yellowstone Park.

Our rooms are spacious, with the convenience of color cable TV, air conditioning in the summer, and very warm and comfortable in the winter.  All rooms have either full or queen beds, showers, or large old fashion bath tubs.  We have designated non-smoking rooms, telephones in all rooms as well as a lobby phone and a pay phone.  No pets allowed, and arrangements must be made for coffee pots, or eating in rooms.  Each room is decorated differently, and with a historical atmosphere.

When you come to the Pawnee Hotel, bring your cameras because the Chief Joseph Highway is a journey of total beauty with the scenery. When you leave Cody going north toward Belfry you will see a sign 22 miles from Cody to turn left west on the Chief Joseph highway to continue toward Cooke City, Montana.

You will be surrounded by miles of beautiful scenery such as in these photos. You can end up in Yellowstone Park, Red Lodge Montana, or Cooke City Montana, for breakfast, lunch or dinner and return to your lodging in Cody for a restful evening.

While you are at the Pawnee Hotel, you have the convenience of many nearby restaurants and lounges. All within walking distance. We do have a few restaurants that will deliver, but the weather in Cody always makes it a nice walk to any of the restaurants, or the Buffalo Bill Historical Museum, or a short drive to the Cody Night Rodeo during the season.
