Nestled in the tall pines of the Big Horn Mountains of northcentral Wyoming, you'll enter a wildlife paradise at The Pines Lodge. You will be surrounded by nature and taken care of, while experiencing the rustic living vacation of a lifetime. It just doesn't get any better!

The historic "The Pines" Lodge has been a favorite destination for the locals and travelers alike, for many many years. Built on land leased from the U.S. Forest Service, you can stay in one of the rustic modernized log cabins, relax in the lounge, and enjoy your favorite entrée, prepared "just right", in the restaurant. You can spend the day, the evening, or the week, in the quietness of the mountains, with the Middle Fork of Clear Creek rolling by. Horseback rides are also available during the summer months for day rides and maybe a pack trip into the Cloud Peak Wilderness for a week of fishing and trail riding.

There are 7 rustic cabins nestled in the woods, all unique, with only one requiring a walk to the washhouse for the creature comfort needs. This is the place to stay to get away from it all and enjoy plain and simple living. You won't find phone or tv, just great scenery and plentiful outdoor activities. Spend the afternoon or a whole day hiking, fishing, hunting (area 35), snow-shoeing, horseback riding or cross-country skiing. There are also snowmobile opportunities nearby. Wildlife is abundant and you can watch birds and deer, as well as moose and many other animals through the large picture windows of the 3,200 sq. foot lodge while you enjoy wondeful home-cooked meals.

Visit The Pines Lodge for your next getaway, family vacation or other event. This home away from home provides all the amenities for a simple and outdoorsy getaway.
